Death Adder . . . the one snake in Oz which won't run away when it feels vibrations from people walking by. Lies completely still until a mouse or other food source walks over it. Very poisonous. And found all over Oz . . . learnt to never walk on dead leaves as they are very camouflaged in these. Even here it's hard to see.
